The satisfaction of eating a tomato you grew yourself is completely disproportionate to the accomplishment. But also… have you tasted a homegrown tomato? 🍅

Growing vegetables is a bonus. Every year, the real goal is creating a garden I never want to leave.

Cucumbers slowing down? Check for overgrown bombs 💣

Giving myself credit where it’s due.

This is probably the question I get asked most.

I have three arches:
🌿 One has two different melon varieties.
🥒 The middle is cucumbers.
🍅 One is cherry tomatoes.

If your goal is to completely cover an arch, the variety you choose makes a huge difference. After some trial and error, I’ve found the ones that consistently give me the best coverage.

Comment “varieties” and I’ll DM you the exact melon, cucumber, and cherry tomato varieties I planted.

Peak garden 💕

It’s hard to believe this is the same garden just a few months later.

To me, gardening has never been just about growing food. It’s about creating a space that’s every bit as beautiful as it is productive.

I’ll allow it. I’ve made peace with the bunnies.
