**Skilled Remodeling and Handyman Subcontractor Wanted**
Enjoy the work, but tired of chasing leads, writing estimates, and handling the business side? Or looking for quality projects to fill gaps in your schedule?
Quad Cities Handyman is looking for an experienced, self-employed remodeling or handyman professional for residential projects throughout the Quad Cities.
We handle the marketing, customer intake, estimating, and billing for our projects. You bring strong skills, sound judgment, and pride in your work. Professional communication with homeowners on site is still part of the job.
Projects may include finish carpentry, doors and trim, drywall repairs, painting, flooring, deck repairs, and light remodeling. You do not need to do everything. We want to know what you do well and what you enjoy doing.
**We’re looking for someone who:**
- Produces clean, durable work and addresses the cause of a problem.
- Keeps commitments and communicates promptly when plans change.
- Protects customers’ homes and cleans up thoroughly.
- Owns mistakes and takes care of corrections.
- Knows their limits and asks questions before guessing.
- Has appropriate tools, transportation, and business insurance.
- Can provide project photos and references.
We welcome established tradespeople seeking an ongoing subcontracting relationship or occasional projects. Scope, compensation, and timing are agreed on before each accepted project. Work is matched to your demonstrated skills and availability.
