🎉 George Reed Inc. Celebrates Caltrans Excellence in Partnering Award

👏 Congratulations to Les McWilliams and the entire George Reed Inc. team on being recognized at the 26th Annual Caltrans HQ Excellence in Partnering Awards for the Plymouth Clean CA Bike Path Project in Amador County, California. 🚴‍♂️

The project included a three-quarter mile bike path, pedestrian and bicycle crossing improvements along State Route 49, drainage upgrades, railings, and signage to improve safety and connectivity for the Plymouth community.

Through collaboration between Caltrans, George Reed Inc., local agencies, utility partners, and community stakeholders, the team successfully delivered the project safely and on schedule. The completed improvements provide lasting benefits for Plymouth residents and visitors by creating safer access and stronger connections throughout the community. 🚧🎉

Join us tomorrow for the 4th Annual Touch-A-Truck Modesto event, Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Modesto Junior College West Campus Ag Pavilion. Every pass of equipment helps build a stable subgrade and base, setting the stage for the paving work ahead. 🚧 A New Chapter for Auburn Boulevard! After years of planning and collaboration, the City of Citrus Heights Government celebrated the completion of the Auburn Boulevard Complete Streets Phase 2 Project, transforming one of the community's most important corridors into a safer, more connected, and more welcoming destination.

The project included wider sidewalks, improved bike facilities, upgraded traffic signals, landscaping, underground utilities, ADA improvements, and a newly paved roadway designed to serve residents, businesses, and visitors for years to come.

George Reed Inc. was proud to be part of the team that helped bring this long-term vision to life alongside the City of Citrus Heights and numerous project partners. 👏
