Some projects are built for a purpose. And sometimes, that purpose becomes part of the building itself.
From the earliest stages of construction at The One Center, Crossroads Grace Community Church wanted this future counseling center to represent the people it would one day serve.
Before the foundation was poured, rocks bearing the names of people who could benefit from The One Center, along with Scripture, were placed into the foundation.
Later, before the walls were covered with drywall, prayers and Scripture were written throughout the building, surrounding the future counseling rooms and spaces with words of hope, encouragement, and faith.
Those details are hidden now. You won’t see them when you walk through the doors. But they are part of the building, and part of its story.
For us, construction is about more than completing plans and putting up walls. It’s about understanding what a project means to the people behind it and finding ways to honor that purpose throughout the process.
And now, after watching The One Center grow from a foundation filled with names and prayers to a completed counseling center, we had the privilege of standing alongside Crossroads for its ribbon cutting.
Built with purpose. Built for people. ❤️
