The sun doesn't just shine bright in California. In partnership with Wells Energy Development, we're ready to proceed with two newly awarded projects in Illinois!

Over coming months, we'll be working hard to get a total of 2 MW of solar with 958 kW (7,840 kWh) of battery energy storage online across two sites in the Land of Lincoln. These projects mark an important milestone for our team as we bring the Huff Energy EPC experts cross-country to support reliable, affordable energy growth.

Aaaaand we're energized! 🔌⚡ The new 21,540 square foot, three-story building on Laurel St. in San Carlos, CA is officially connected to power.

The combined retail and office space will utilize the solar and battery installation to power the building with affordable, reliable energy that meets Title 24 requirements. Congrats to the developers and all who worked hard to make this project a reality!

New buildings that meet Title 24 energy requirements? No problem! Our project at Pacific Equipment Solutions is now complete, with a 14.55 kW rooftop solar array at the company's new location in Turlock, CA.

As per state code, new builds must meet building energy efficiency standards. For this project, Huff Steel Buildings and Huff Energy Solutions collaborated on the building + solar energy so that Pacific Equipment Solutions could focus on opening their 7th location! It's time for ground breaking at Mariani Packing Co. in Vacaville, CA! With permitting all set, the Huff Energy team is getting ready to install 2.37 MW of ground mounted solar panels in partnership with Solaris Energy, Layman Electric Inc., and Greentech Renewables. The array will include:

+ 4084 Silfab Solar Inc. USA-made solar modules
+ 4391 PowerField Energy Inc. USA-made PowerRack 1200
+ 20 Solis USA & Canada inverters

This is the second Mariani Packing site to install solar energy with Huff, guaranteeing an affordable electricity supply for their energy-intensive food packing operations.

With energy prices and electricity demand skyrocketing in California and beyond, we're proud to be a part of the solution for regional business mainstays like Mariani.

All crops and livestock grow on energy that traces back to the sun ☀️ So powering livestock pavilions with solar energy is the perfect choice for the Alameda County Fairgrounds agricultural pavilion.

Alameda County Fair upgraded their facilities with 110KW of solar panels to support the year-round festivities with affordable energy. The array is installed on cantilevered solar canopy, making excellent use of overhead space while adding shade and rain cover for visitors.
