Mold in a crawl space can easily go unnoticed, but moisture beneath a home can create the right conditions for microbial growth.

Our SERVPRO of Mobile County technician is suited up and working underneath this Mobile area home, applying an antimicrobial treatment to the affected surfaces. This treatment is part of the mold remediation process and helps address microbial growth after the affected areas have been properly evaluated and treated.

Crawl spaces are out of sight, but they can still have an impact on the home above. Finding and addressing the source of moisture is an important part of helping prevent the problem from returning.

Commercial kitchens move fast, and unfortunately, so can fire.

Our SERVPRO of Mobile County team recently responded to a commercial fire that started in the kitchen due to a lightening strike and affected the surrounding space with fire, smoke, soot and water damage.

Once the fire department clears the scene, the restoration process begins. Our crews work quickly to remove damaged materials, clean affected areas and help businesses take the first steps toward reopening.

When fire interrupts business, SERVPRO of Mobile County is ready to help make it “Like it never even happened.”

A leaking sink can quickly turn into a much larger problem for a business.

Our SERVPRO of Mobile County team responded to this commercial water loss after water spread into several areas of the office. Drying equipment was placed throughout the affected rooms to begin removing moisture as quickly as possible and help prevent additional damage.

For a business, quick response matters. The faster the water is addressed and the drying process begins, the better the opportunity to protect the property, limit disruption and keep the business operating.

When water interrupts the workday, SERVPRO of Mobile County is ready to respond.

While wildfires may not be a common concern in our area, smoke and soot damage are important considerations for any homeowner affected by a fire.

As noted in a recent Forbes article, smoke damage often extends beyond what is visible or immediately detectable. Residue can settle on surfaces, belongings, and HVAC systems, potentially causing lingering odors and further damage over time. (Forbes)

This can be true after any residential or commercial fire. After the flames are out, there can still be important cleanup and restoration work ahead.

It is a good reminder that fire damage restoration is not only about what was burned. It is also about addressing the smoke, soot, and residue left behind.

A helpful read for homeowners: “Wildfire Smoke Damage Issues Affect Homeownership Risks And Costs” from Forbes.

SERVPRO CEO John Sooker was recently featured in Forbes, sharing insights into the complex cleanup challenges and specialized expertise needed to help homeowners recover after fire damage.

As wildfires continue to impact communities across the U.S., professional restoration services play an important role in helping homeowners navigate the road to recovery.
