🛠️ This week's Tech Tip Tuesday is coming straight from the AC BOSS himself!

Hurricane Isaias just blew through Mobile, bringing plenty of wind, rain, and power outages along with it. Now that the storm has passed, Richard wants to remind everybody to pay a little extra attention to their air conditioning systems!

Strong winds can leave behind pine straw, leaves, branches, and other debris around your outdoor unit, potentially affecting its performance. Flooding can also cause serious damage, so it's important to check for any signs that your system may have been affected by the storm.

And it's not just the wind and rain you need to worry about! Power outages, brief interruptions, and brownouts can cause problems with the electronic components in newer HVAC systems. Sometimes, those issues don't become noticeable until days after the storm.

The AC Boss's advice? Keep an EYE and an EAR on your system!

If you're hearing unusual noises, noticing that your system isn't cooling properly, or something just doesn't seem right, it may be time to have your system inspected or serviced.

🎉 We had a birthday over the weekend! Everybody help us wish a very Happy Birthday to Ashley, part of our Customer Service Team! 🎂

Ashley is known around the office for her strong work ethic, quick wit, and just the right amount of sass to keep everybody on their toes! 😂 She's organized, dependable, and always makes sure things are running smoothly while helping take care of our customers.

We appreciate the hard work, dedication, and personality Ashley brings to our team every day. We're thankful to have her as part of the Grayson family and hope she had a WONDERFUL birthday weekend!

🍂 We had a BLAST at Collier Elementary School's Fall Festival yesterday! 🍂

We had such a great time hanging out with the students, parents, and staff for a day full of FUN!

There were TONS of games and activities for the kids to enjoy, and they were having an absolute blast running around, playing with their friends, and spending time with their families. There was so much excitement throughout the day, and we loved getting to see everybody enjoying themselves!

Thank you for inviting us to join the fun! We had an awesome time and hope all the kids and families did, too!

Hurricane Isaias is almost here, and we want our community to know that we are prepared and ready to help.

Our team will be running service calls on Friday for as long as road and weather conditions safely allow. We are also prepared to be out servicing air conditioning systems and generators throughout Saturday and Sunday, doing everything we can to reach our customers and get them taken care of as soon as conditions permit.

And even if conditions prevent our crews from safely reaching you on Friday, PLEASE don’t hesitate to call! Our 24-hour answering service will remain available to take your call and help get you on the schedule.

We want our community to have peace of mind knowing that Grayson is here when you need us. The safety of our employees and our community will remain our priority.

We also want to share an important safety reminder as the storm approaches.

⚠️ If your HVAC system becomes submerged or sustains damage during the hurricane, DO NOT attempt to turn it back on.

For your safety and the protection of your property, leave the system powered off until it can be properly inspected by a qualified professional.

Grayson Air Conditioning is GROWING, and our marketing department is growing right along with it!

We're looking for an experienced marketing specialist who is ready to bring their knowledge, creativity, and fresh ideas to the table. Someone who isn't afraid to jump in, take initiative, and help us continue building something GREAT here at Grayson!

And if you know anything about us, you know our marketing goes WELL beyond sitting behind a computer!!

We're out in the community, working with local businesses, attending events, creating content, filming videos, managing digital marketing efforts, supporting nonprofit initiatives, and constantly finding new ways to connect with our customers!!

What would make you a great fit?

✅ A background in marketing, social media, and content creation
✅ Knowledge of Google Ads, SEO, Google Business Profile, or other digital marketing platforms
✅ Experience with photography, videography, graphic design, or editing
✅ Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
✅ An outgoing personality and confidence talking to just about anybody
✅ Creativity, initiative, and a willingness to bring new ideas to the table
✅ A great work ethic and the ability to work well with our crew

🏠 We’re a little over THREE WEEKS away from the HBA Mobile - Home Builders Association of Metro Mobile Parade of Homes, and the Showcase Home is getting closer and closer to the finish line!

There’s a LOT happening over at Channing Court right now! More work is being done on the driveway, tile is going in throughout the bathrooms, cabinets and doors are being installed, built-in shelving is taking shape, and The Stone Experts are getting those beautiful marble countertops installed!

Lynn Nolen Construction is keeping everything moving as all of these finishing details start coming together - and there’s still plenty more to come over the next few weeks!

We can’t wait for everybody to finally get a look inside!

Donald keeps a whole lot moving around here! He works hard, keeps our crews stocked and ready to roll, and definitely keeps everybody on their toes!!

But if you REALLY want to see Donald in his element, you might have to catch him outside of the warehouse! This man can roller skate, bowl, and absolutely bust a move on the dance floor! Donald has plenty of personality and always knows how to keep things interesting around here.

Donald, we appreciate everything you do for Grayson and the energy you bring to our crew every day.

Good morning, Mobile! Hurricane Isaias is steadily approaching, and NOW is the time to make sure your generator is ready!

🛠️ Ben has a simple one for this week’s Tech Tip Tuesday - give your outdoor unit some breathing room!

Your condenser needs plenty of airflow to operate efficiently, and sometimes the things around it can get in the way without you even realizing it.

Trash cans pushed up beside it, toys left around the unit, tall grass, or bushes that have gotten a little out of control can all become obstructions.

Take a walk outside, check around your unit, and keep it clear! A little space can go a long way toward helping your system get the airflow it needs for maximum efficiency.
