The Cabinet Shop, LLC. — Mobile, Alabama
is looking for an experienced Custom Cabinet Finisher to join our growing commercial millwork and custom cabinetry team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing a high-quality, professional finish and understands that the finishing process is one of the most important parts of a custom cabinet project.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Spray and finish custom cabinets, architectural millwork, doors, panels, and components
Prepare surfaces for finishing, including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning. Apply primers, stains, paints, clear coats, and specialty finishes. Match colors, sheens, and existing finishes. Inspect finished work for defects and correct imperfections. Maintain consistent finish quality from piece to piece. Properly clean and maintain spray equipment and finishing equipment. Follow production schedules and project specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing area. Work closely with our production team to meet project deadlines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of professional cabinet, furniture, or architectural millwork finishing experience
Strong knowledge of spray finishing techniques. Experience with conversion varnish, lacquer, polyurethane, primers, stains, and pigmented finishes. Excellent sanding and surface-preparation skills. Ability to identify and correct finish defects.Strong attention to detail. Ability to read shop drawings and understand finish schedules. Ability to work independently while being part of a production team. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. A commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

EXPERIENCE WITH THESE IS A PLUS
Kremlin, CAT, Graco, or other professional spray equipment
Commercial architectural millwork
Custom cabinetry
Color matching
Wood staining and toning
Two-component finishing systems
High-end residential or commercial finishes

The Cabinet Shop, LLC in Mobile, AL is seeking to fill some positions around the shop . We are needing a CNC operator, Painter/Finisher, solid surface fabricator, Cabinet assembly and Installers. We expect all of our employees to maintain a clean workspace and take pride in their finished product. All applicants must have experience using hand and power tools, be able to read a tape measure, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a drug/background screening. Installers, out-of-town work is often required. Must be willing to travel. Current working schedule 4 10s. We have paid holidays, 80 hrs.
