Monday gutter tip: the 5-minute check you can do from the ground after a big rain 🌧️

1. Watch the gutters while it's raining. Water spilling over the front edge usually means a clog or a run that's lost its slope.
2. Look for dark streaks or peeling paint on the fascia board behind the gutter. That's often water getting behind it.
3. Check that every downspout is actually flowing and empties at least 4-6 feet from the foundation.
4. Look for sagging spots or gaps at the corners and seams.
5. Walk the flower beds under the gutters. Washed-out mulch or pine straw is a sign of overflow.

No ladder needed for any of this. If something looks off, snap a picture and send it our way and we'll tell you what we see.
