Folks, house fires are going to occur more frequently with more activity taking place indoors. Cold weather will have us inside. We will be using Fireplaces, stoves, furnaces, etc which are the #2 cause of house fires. The #1 cause of house fires is cooking, holiday's are here and cooking is the festive celebration. The #3 reason for house fires is faulty electrical wiring. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) gives a 25 year life span on copper wire, which then begins to breakdown, weaken at connections, and even break away at termination points. Many of the electrical hazards that will lead to a house fire, you cannot see with the naked eye, so a visual safety inspection will likely not detect any deficiencies. However, with our Infrared Inspection (normally $360.00), we can detect if a breaker is operating outside specified temperature ranges, if receptacles and switches are exceedingly hot, if the Meter base is outside safe operating temperatures. Then with our Whole House Electrical Inspection (normally $299.00), we can visually inspect your home for current code compliance, make recommendations for implementing code compliant upgrades, make recommendations for system changes to improve functionality, and finally we can inform you of immediate changes necessary for the safety of your family and the preservation of your property. Now as you see this would typically cost $659.00, but we at Terrell Electric believe in safety and wish to pass a massive cost savings on to you, to encourage you to take action towards your homes safety. We are offering both inspections for a combined total of only $240.00 and we have that set up at our website www.terrellelectric.com to schedule monthly payments of $20.00 per month for 12 months.

  • Flat Rate Pricing. If you call us Friday night at 10 PM, you will pay the same rates as if you called us Monday morning at 9 AM. Typically, you are at work from 8 AM to 4 PM, and it is only when you are home that you will notice an electrical failure. So you are left with 2 choices, contact a contractor and pay overtime rates or wait til tomorrow and take a day off of work to be there. Not very convenient and it is basically punishing you for having a job, by demanding higher rates for the same work, just later in the day. How fair is that to you?

  • Uniforms. We are the only Electrical Contractor in the area that has uniforms. This is important to us and should be to you. If we will bare the cost of putting a person in a uniform, we are confident not only in their skills, but also in their character. It is extremely important to Terrell Electric, that your safety is first and foremost. Not only from electrical hazards, but from unscrupulous people who would seek to harm you.

  • Maintenance Plans. We are the only Electrical Contractor in the area offering an Electrical Service Plan, to ensure your safety and to ensure that costly repairs are caught early while they are inexpensive, rather than after they have become an issue.
