We have a full-line Garden Center at 600 West Spruce Avenue in Mitchell, South Dakota, just one mile west of the Cabela's Super Store. We proudly offer a broad range of quality services from design to installation to maintenance of residential and commercial landscape and irrigation needs. James Valley prides itself on providing superior customer service through our experienced, courteous, and helpful staff and strive to tailor all of our services to meet the individual needs of each of our customers. James Valley always places customer satisfaction first and provides a warranty on all of our work. Not yet. The ideal time to stop watering is when the ground freezes after a hard frost. You do not need to water your lawn once it goes into dormancy for winter, and doing so could put your grass at risk of fungal disease. You should also give all your trees, shrubs and perennials a good watering before the ground freezes.

All remaining bulbs are 20% off now at James Valley Garden Center! Want a little planting advice? That’s easy!
Simply dig a hole three times as deep at the bulb is tall, pointy side up, about 3-6 inches apart. Bulbs do best in loose, well-drained soil. Fall bulbs just need one good watering after you plant them to get things started, then you can let nature do its magic. Next spring you can expect a gorgeous display of flowers!
