I had the privilege of starting encompass in January of 2004. I remember researching to create the name; it was “encompass” that stood out, it means “to form a circle about”. Since the primary goal in creating my company was to “ include” the full team, to create meaningful projects,
“encompass design” fulfilled, in two words, what I hoped to relay about my company. 20 years later, I’m so proud that through it all, those two words are still the mission!
Through the years, encompass has grown, evolved and strengthened.
I’m proud to work beside each one of my teammates at encompass! They all have such a special story! They bring their unique talents to advance the encompass mission - our encompass team mantra is “good & generous” We work together, truly together, with a no nonsense mindset! encompass is at it’s strongest as it enters its third decade!
I’m proud to announce that Todd Schaper, my mentor back when I started my career in 2000, is now a co-owner! What a thrill to share this with him. He is the epitome of good and generous!!
As I look back and look forward, I’m filled with a plethora of emotions! I’m proud of so many things!
