Customer Spotlight: Cool Earth Creamery 🍧

We are so excited to spotlight one of our favorite sweet treat vendors: ! They’ve been composting with us since March 2026, and every week we swing by to pick up the organic waste from their tabling events, plus any extra scraps from gelato production. But they don’t stop there. They also send their spent grain and organic waste to a local farm, Nature Wise Farm and Garden, so nothing goes to waste.

Even better, their gelato packaging is compostable. Just remember to peel off the stickers first!

Customer Spotlight: Biscuit Hound Cafe 🐶🍪

We're so excited to shine a spotlight on one of our newest commercial customers, ! These folks are dishing up seriously good sweet and savory biscuit sandwiches made with local and organic ingredients. Plus all of their biscuits are baked fresh every morning with locally milled organic flour!

They're also total compost superstars! 🌟 Compostable cups, to-go boxes, and silverware? Check. Compost bins in both the dining room AND the kitchen? Double check.

Last Saturday we sponsored Moon-Randolph's Fall Gathering, supplying compostable cups, plates, and cutlery for the event.

After sorting everything into compost and recycling, the Moon-Randolph team ended the day with just ONE BAG of trash from the whole event! That's a big win, and it's thanks to the dedicated members who made it happen. 💚

Packing peanuts can be the WORST — but here’s some good news: more companies are ditching the plastic and switching to plant-based, fully compostable packing peanuts! 🥜

Wondering if yours are the real deal? If it dissolves in water within a minute or two — it’s compostable! These little guys are typically made from corn and potato starch.

Found out you’ve got a surplus of compostable peanuts sitting around? Don’t toss them in the trash — send them our way and let’s keep them out of the landfill!

Customer Spotlight: Market on Front 🌯

We all know Market on Front serves killer burritos, sandwiches, and coffee — but did you know they're also compost rockstars? 🤘

Market on Front has been composting with us since November 2023, and they don't do it halfway — they compost both back of house AND front of house. But wait, there's more! They've also ditched the landfill-bound stuff for compostable cups and containers.

Griz Game season is BACK, and that means we're back in the stadium doing what we do best — composting! 🏈♻️

Keep your eyes peeled for our bins around the stadium, and remember: your pizza boxes, Big Dipper ice cream cups, and popcorn containers can all be composted!
