Save us a seat, eh?

This northeast corner of the kitchen finally got its moment: custom white oak from Linley’s Cabinets, installed by our team and tied together with a custom steel base anchored deep for the long haul.

The white oak brings those classic tiger-like grain lines, the Marvin windows pull in the morning light, and the brushed nickel Dorothy pendant from Kuzco gives the whole corner a clean little finish.

Some projects sit on the list for a while, then come together fast once the timing is right.

We recently wrapped up this bathroom remodel for longtime clients, led by one of our newest project managers and finished with a tight, polished turnaround.

The view from the doorway says a lot: custom glass by TC Glass, French Antique hardware from Emtek Hardware, marble-look tile from Arizona Tile, and Mia Gold quartz from Pental on the vanity and shower threshold.

Clean lines, bold tile choices, and a whole lot of detail packed into a smaller footprint.

Cabinets don’t set themselves.

Cody from Linley’s Cabinets was on site setting kitchen cabinets in one of our favorite 1930s remodels, and the guy knows his way around a level.

Linley’s has been improving spaces across the Bitterroot and Missoula since 1979, and we’ve been lucky to work alongside their crew on plenty of good ones.

They nailed the brief on this kitchen. Clean install, dialed fit, and the kind of work that makes the next steps a whole lot easier.

They’re so good they don’t even have an Instagram for us to tag.

That kind of crew.

Go ahead, look up.

This vaulted ceiling was finished with Glacier Millworks’ Timber Forge 1x6 tongue-and-groove, installed with no gap and finished in a custom color chosen by our clients.

Before we even had a job lined up, their team drove down from Kalispell with a full range of samples and took the time to walk our crew through the options. When the right color wasn’t sitting in the box, they helped us create one.

These warm, honey-toned boards carry your eye across the full span of the room, while the antlers at either end create subtle anchors.

Texture like this looks damn good against the clean, modern lines from the architect.

Phew — opened just in time.

If you’ve been following along, we’ve been hard at work getting this space ready for our friends The Runner's Edge .

This project doubled their original footprint, and it’s been rad seeing their team bring the space back to life with displays, gear, and all the moving pieces that make the shop feel like home.

We still have work to do finishing up a stunning conference room, storage, and additional office spaces for their growing team, but we’re so proud of everyone involved. You wouldn’t want this pace for your marathon, but this one felt like an all-out 800. IYKYK.

Speaking of marathons, they’re open just in time for Run Wild Missoula’s annual Missoula Marathon. The full marathon is sold out, but spots in the half, 5K, and kids events are still open.

Plume, meet mountain view.

This vertical LED pendant from Hubbardton Forge sits right at the turn of the staircase, with a dark smoke finish that ties back to the Viewrail powder coat.

The shape does plenty on its own, but set against that Marvin window and the blue Missoula mountains of Missoula’s west side behind it? Yeah, that helps.

Our friends at J&M Electric handled the install, and with an adjustable cable and 20,000-hour lifespan, this one should be hanging around for a while.
