Signs your lawn is under heat stress are brown spots in sunny areas, simply increase water at least 45 minutes per zone daily in hot/sunny areas of lawn and raise mower to highest setting 3.5-4 inches tall during the months of July and August, also bag mowings if possible, extra thatch reduces air flow and promotes disease/fungus on the lawn

Lawns are getting very dry, water lawn in hot sunny areas at least 45 minutes per zone 5xs a week, shady areas 3-4 times weekly, never water just 20-30, minutes, that causes a lot of issues

Lawns are drying out fast, if you want to keep it green water and mow 2nd from the highest setting during hot dry spells
