This custom water feature was designed to become the focal point of our client’s landscape—creating beauty, movement, and the relaxing sound of flowing water day and night.

Featuring three oversized spillway urns, cascading bowls, natural boulders, driftwood accents, aquatic plantings, and professional landscape lighting, this installation transforms the space into a true backyard retreat. The nighttime lighting brings the entire feature to life, creating an incredible view long after the sun goes down.

Another happy customer 🎉🎉

This outdated patio had reached the end of its life. The existing space was failing, felt cramped, and no longer fit the homeowners’ needs.

Our customer in Granger wanted a clean, modern outdoor living space with more room to relax and entertain. We removed the old patio and completely transformed the backyard with a larger, beautifully designed paver patio that’s built to last.

The result? A timeless outdoor space that’s as functional as it is beautiful.

Thinking about upgrading your backyard? We’d love to help bring your vision to life.

This lakefront property had aging wood steps and a failing retaining wall that had reached the end of their life. We completely transformed the space by installing massive tiered boulder retaining walls and extra-wide 8-foot High Format steps, creating a beautiful, durable, and functional entrance to the lake.

The new design not only adds strength and stability to the shoreline but also provides a natural look that blends perfectly with the landscape while making access to the water safer and easier.

If your retaining wall or lake access is showing its age, we’d love to help bring your vision to life.

Meet the Team Behind JP Rose Creative Landscaping

Hey Michiana! I’m Jon Primrose, owner of JP Rose Creative Landscaping.

Many of you know our company from the landscapes, patios, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces we’ve built throughout Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. But I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little of our story.

Long before JP Rose existed, my father, Bob Primrose, started a small family landscaping company, Primrose Grounds Management, with a simple goal: provide the highest quality work at a fair price and treat every customer with honesty and respect. Over the years, he built a reputation for exceptional landscaping and eventually expanded into hardscaping and outdoor living projects across the Michiana area.

Growing up, I had the opportunity to learn directly from my dad. From the first lawn we maintained to the most complex outdoor living projects we build today, he taught me that quality matters, details matter, and your word matters.

As I took on more responsibility in the business, I developed a passion for creative hardscape design and transforming outdoor spaces into places where families can gather, entertain, and make memories. Eventually, my father handed me the reins, and JP Rose Creative Landscaping was born.

Today, our team specializes in:

🧱 Paver Patios & Walkways
🪨 Retaining Walls & Decorative Stonework
🔥 Fire Features & Outdoor Living Spaces
🍽️ Outdoor Kitchens
🌿 Landscape Design & Installation
🏡 Complete Backyard Transformations
💧 Drainage & Property Solutions

While our name has changed over the years, our mission hasn’t. We’re still a family-owned company committed to quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and creating one-of-a-kind outdoor spaces that exceed expectations.

Every project we take on is treated as if it were our own home, and we take great pride in helping our customers bring their vision to life.

Thank you to all of our customers, friends, and supporters who have trusted us over the years. Your support has allowed us to continue doing what we love every day.

If you’ve been dreaming about transforming your outdoor space, we’d love the opportunity to help.
