Thankful to be on the other side of the storm.

Our team, clients and community are safe, and we’re thinking of those dealing with damage and cleanup in the aftermath.

There’s a lot of work ahead, but if there’s one thing we know about the Emerald Coast, it’s that this community shows up for each other.

Proud to call this place home.

A beautiful new space for some of the best in the business.

We loved bringing this renovation to life for Avantgarde Salon • Florida. A space as polished as the work they do.

And we spy a few familiar yellow books from The Scout Guide 30A & Destin 💛

Classic never goes out of style.

Yes, this really was the bathroom.

As part of this whole-home renovation, we completely reworked the floor plan, moving the bathroom upstairs and turning this space into the new kitchen.

One of the biggest advantages of a major renovation is not being tied to the existing layout. Sometimes moving rooms entirely is what makes the whole house work better.

And if you’re wondering whether it’s really the same space, keep an eye on the window.

The lowest bid can be tempting. But when you’re investing in a major renovation, the number at the bottom of the proposal only tells part of the story.

If one proposal comes in significantly lower than the others, it’s worth understanding why. A few things to look closely at:

1️⃣ Allowances: Are the allowances realistic for the level of finishes you’re expecting? A lower allowance may make the initial proposal more attractive, but the difference shows up quickly when selections begin.

2️⃣ Scope: Are you actually comparing the same project? Details that are included in one contractor’s proposal may be excluded, or not accounted for at all, in another.

3️⃣ Quality & Experience: The trades working in your home, the level of project management, communication, craftsmanship, and attention to detail all factor into the cost of a renovation.

At Revive Properties, we believe you should understand what you’re paying for before construction begins, not discover it as the project unfolds.

Five years running 🎣
Our annual Revive deep sea fishing trip has become one of our favorite traditions. A little friendly competition, a lot of fish, and a day outside the office and job sites with a pretty great crew.
