Client wanted a simple design/build as we go to finish upstairs remodeling project. I suggested just wrapping all posts with sheetrock and cornerbead (17- 8 foot pieces.! a labor of love especially when you have to get back where the ceiling drops to 3 feet (plus or minus). We have a little more to do and will post again when finished...
