This photo reminds me just how blessed I am to still be here. ❤️
Ohhhh, do I have stories.
I joke that I’m on “life #17”…but the truth is, every day I’m here is a gift, and I want to make it count.
In November 2003, my life completely changed.
God rescued me.
I was a happy, fun-loving drunk...or at least that’s what people saw. Behind the smiles was a whole lot of pain. And the 180 that happened in my life? Trust me, that was NOT my doing.
God broke the chains of addiction and set me FREE. 🙌🏻
Does that mean life has been pain-free and easy since? Absolutely not.
But now there is a JOY underneath it all that circumstances can’t take away. There is hope. There is freedom. There is Jesus.
And honestly, this is part of why I love the work I get to do today.
I know what it feels like to live caged and chained, wondering if freedom is even possible.
And I know the wonder of walking out of that cage and discovering who God created you to be. 🔑
My story is proof that your past does not get the final word.
God is still in the rescue business.
If He could take my life and make it fresh and new, He can do it for you too. ❤️
“Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.”
