Progress is taking shape on the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Wellness Center in Cass Lake, Minnesota. The center will expand access to healthcare, community resources, fitness space, and after-school programming for the surrounding tribal community. LSE is grateful for the opportunity to continue working with the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe on this important project and for the trust they have placed in us across our work together. We look forward to celebrating the completion and grand opening in January 2027. Check out the progress video - compliments of Kraus-Anderson - here: https://youtu.be/ptl7fLh8jHQ?si=UqNnvb5DMt2yBRz_

Pittsburgh, PA - Citizens Live at the Wylie, the new concert venue in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, opened its doors for a soundcheck party Monday night.

Designed by LSE Architects with Blueprint Studio for Live Nation, the new 4,000-seat venue honors Wylie Avenue’s rich musical legacy while bringing national acts, bold architecture, and new energy to the neighborhood. LSE designers Shawn Olson, Shawn Walsh, Roger Page, Isabelle Hukriede, and Ryan Johnson attended the event. Check out the Substack article by Sonic Pit - Burgh Music with Manny, Mike, and Mervis:

NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS! The 400 Horses Casino in Polson, Montana, is set against sweeping views of the Mission Mountains and Flathead Lake. Designed by LSE Architects and built by Kraus-Anderson, the casino incorporates an aviation-themed atmosphere (a nod to its unique location and proximity to the nearby airport), 400+ slot machines, dining, and a feature bar. With its blend of local culture, natural beauty, and future growth opportunities in mind, including a luxury hotel, pool, and multi-purpose event center, the 400 Horses Casino is set to become a premier regional destination for gaming, leisure, and community gatherings.

LSE Architects is proud to continue working alongside Ho-Chunk, Inc. as expands to South Sioux City, NE. Following successful collaborations on WarHorse Lincoln and WarHorse Omaha, LSE provided architectural and interior design services for this new destination, representing continued investment in tribal enterprise, economic development, and community growth.

Phase I includes a 50,000-square-foot casino and sports bar, with future phases planned to add a 100-room hotel, a 13,000-square-foot event center, and an outdoor live entertainment venue. We look forward to watching this exciting project take shape as construction begins this fall, with opening anticipated in 2027

Last week, LSE Architects joined Terra Construction, Elk River City Government, and Elk River Municipal Liquor staff at the Northbound Liquor Groundbreaking Ceremony. Designed by LSE to enhance the customer experience while improving operational efficiency, the new building consists of a retail suite with storage facilities, an entry canopy, restrooms, and a shared office suite. The new building will replace the existing Northbound Liquor store and will support safe and accountable alcohol sales while providing an important source of funding for local services. In the past five years, the city’s liquor stores have contributed $5,700,000 to the General Fund and Park Improvement Fund, helping offset costs that might otherwise fall to property taxpayers.
