The remodeling was intended to repair flood damage, but it ended up doing so much more; so much to give new life to this space and energy to this great clinic. We are so happy to have been a part of this transformation! Thanks to Personal Care Dentistry and to the general contractor, Heritage Construction for their hard work and diligence.

We toured the Walk Your Plans LLC to better understand how immersive walkthrough experiences like this can help support our clients during the design process.

There’s something powerful about being able to physically walk a space before it’s built. It changes conversations, helps people visualize details differently, and creates clarity early on.

We're always looking for ways to improve the client experience and help bring ideas to life in more meaningful ways.

For many dealerships, the service department is the most important part of the business day in and day out. As the industry continues to shift in 2026, we’re seeing more focus placed on the service experience, for both customers and the teams working behind the scenes. And the space itself plays a big role in that.

Things like bay layout, customer flow, check-in areas, waiting spaces, and overall functionality can make a real difference in how smoothly the day runs. That's why Baker Foundation Studio believe good design should support the people using the space every day.

What’s one thing you think makes a service department work really well?

A great reminder that even in the middle of busy days and project conversations, it’s okay to pause and enjoy the moment with the people you work with every day.

Sometimes the best part of the week is just that, a little fun mixed in.

And yes… our team really is that fun. 😄

In architecture and design, clear communication doesn’t happen by accident. It starts with alignment early on and continues through every phase of the project.

A few things we’ve found make a real difference:
▪️ Setting clear expectations at the start
▪️ Keeping the right people involved
▪️ Sharing updates consistently
▪️ Making decisions with everyone aligned

When communication is strong, projects tend to move more smoothly, decisions come easier, and the overall experience feels better for everyone involved.

What’s one thing you think helps keep a project running smoothly?

This Memorial Day, take a moment to remember and honor the people who gave so much in service to our country.

Wishing everyone time filled with gratitude, and time spent with the people who matter most.

Every project begins with understanding your vision. Not just how you want a space to look, but how you want it to feel.

From there, we shape ideas into concepts, refine every detail, and bring creativity and practicality together so the space works as beautifully as it looks.

We focus on clarity early, thoughtful plans, aligned costs, and a process that keeps things moving smoothly from start to finish.

And when construction begins, we stay close. Working alongside your team to make sure what was imagined is what gets built.

It’s about creating a space that feels right and truly supports the way you work.

We had fun redesigning this waiting area after the damage and creating a new look for the clinic and spaces for the patients!

Renovation work at Personal Care Dentistry is wrapping up this month and our new waiting room will be open the first week of June! New furniture for the waiting room arrives at the end of May. Offices for staff are also nearing completion and they will be moving into their new spaces in the next couple of weeks. Also, all of our patient treatment rooms have received new carpet and paint to match the new waiting room and we have added several new treatment rooms.

Dr. Kyle, Dr. Walter, Dr. Andrew and our entire care team want to thank all of our patients for their patience over the last 11 months as we have worked to recover from the flood last summer.

Take a sneak peak!

Bob Shaffer was on site at personal care dentistry, walking through what will soon become the new reception and waiting area.

At this stage, it’s less about finishes and more about flow.

▶️ How patients arrive.
▶️ Where they pause.
▶️ How the space can feel calm, welcoming, and easy to navigate from the start.

It’s spaces like this where the experience begins before the appointment ever does.

At Baker Foundation Studio, one of the biggest ways we create clarity is by aligning design with budget early, not at the end.

Every decision, from layout to materials to construction methods, has an impact on cost. When those decisions are made with real data and experience, it helps avoid the back-and-forth that can slow things down.

It’s not about limiting ideas. It’s about making sure the right ideas can actually move forward. That’s how projects stay on track and teams stay aligned.
