New glass & white oak staircase for Edina - Braemar home remodel project. It uses a wall-mounted steel stringer system — a zigzag steel framework bolted to the wall—with slots that the wood treads slide into. Dog approved.

Poplar is a popular paint-grade wood. Most of the time it's covered up. But for the President's House at St.Olaf College, we changed things up. We bleached it, varnished it, showcased it, and gave ordinary Poplar the chance to stand out.
