Game night? Don't mind if we do!

The homeowners of this Minneapolis lower-level remodel aren't exactly dreading colder temps. After all, chilly weather is the perfect excuse to head downstairs, pour a cocktail (or beverage of choice) and settle in for a round or two of their favorite games.

What was once an unfinished basement is now a 1930s-inspired entertaining space, complete with a custom Art Deco bar and plenty of personality.

If you’re looking for Doug Luebke, there’s a good chance you’ll find him in his garage. Unless, of course, he’s in the kitchen cooking something good.

As a Project Manager at Sawhill, Doug says his favorite part of the job is simple: making our clients happy. He also values the opportunity to pass along the knowledge and life experiences he’s gained over the years.

And he has plenty to draw from. Doug counts his Marine Corps career among his proudest accomplishments, while today, much of his inspiration comes from seeing the legacy he’s created and the impact he’s had on the people around him.

Experience, perspective and a genuine desire to make people happy! We're glad Doug brings all three to the Sawhill team.

If James ever tells you he's picked up a new hobby, don't be surprised. His friends say he collects them.

From woodworking and furniture building to sailing and cycling, he's always looking for something new to learn. We're just glad one of those passions is helping homeowners navigate the remodeling process.

As one of our Project Managers, James loves getting to know the people behind each project just as much as seeing the finished result. Watching a house transform into a dream home, and the joy it brings the families who live there, is what keeps him coming back every day. It's not uncommon for clients to become friends by the time a project wraps up.

His greatest pride is his son, and when it's time to recharge, you'll likely find him in the Colorado mountains.

Turns out, all those hobbies have one thing in common: a love of building, creating, and making things better. We'd say that makes James a pretty great fit for Team Sawhill.
