Want to know what it feels like to live in a home with perfect temperatures, constant fresh filtered air, and zero energy bills?

The Snowberry Homestead in Corcoran is opening its doors this weekend for the MN Renewable Energy Society Sustainable Home Tour (https://www.mnrenewables.org/sustainability-tour)!

We worked closely with the homeowner to build an all-electric sanctuary that aligns environmental values with modern luxury. With abundant natural light from south-facing windows, a quiet cold-climate heat pump, and an integrated solar array, and many other perfomance options this home actually produces more energy than it uses.

Come see it for yourself this weekend!

That musty smell in the basement? It's not just a smell, it's data.

Excess humidity isn't just uncomfortable, it's the #1 driver of mold, dust mites, and wood rot inside a home. Most builders treat it as an afterthought. We treat it as a design input from day one: v***r barrs, air sealing, and mechanical dehumidification work together so your home holds steady in the 30–50% relative humidity range that's ideal for both comfort and health.

We can help solve humidity problems in your home. Contact Paltrin (www.paltrin.com) to get started.

Airtight homes don't trap bad air, they stop uncontrolled leaks.

The secret to fresh indoor air isn't drafty windows or leaky walls. It’s pairing a tight building envelope with engineered mechanical ventilation.

Instead of hoping enough outdoor air sneaks in through hidden gaps, an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) gives you a continuous, measured, and filtered supply of fresh air every hour of every day.

Stop relying on drafty walls for fresh air. Start building for comfort, health, and efficiency.

The best projects happen when the builder and architect talk together early on. Builders bring real-world input on costs, materials, lead times, and constructability that can save your project from redesigns later.

So go ahead, call a builder before those drawings are finalized. You’re not skipping steps. You’re being smart.
