Chicago people, anyone interested in an exterior vent replacement and sealing project? Client reached out (residential) with a vent that is causing leaking issues above their window. The contractor would need to have a 36 foot ladder to reach the area in between the structures. I proposed a rope access solution for them, but it was a bit too expensive at $3000. Anyone with a 36 foot ladder or a single single person narrow lift want to propose a price to this client?

Great class last week at the gargoyle academy training facility. Elevated Tasks taught steep slope roof pitch traversing; Bird Barrier had a hands on course for bird control techniques; Exclusion Masters had their metal bending and fabrication course; then we all teamed up with HY-C Company and Wildlife Control Supplies to roll out the woodpecker workshop! NWCOA was on site for support of their sponsors and vendors as well! Great mashup of brain power and knowledge being shared; can’t wait for late October when the Elevated Exclusions course will be held next, and November for the first insulation workshop and dead animal extraction workshop to be held!

Had the pleasure to check out different places in Norway. The buildings and roofs structures are interesting. They also have cool built in roof ladders which you don’t typically see in the States.

Soft launch opening of the Gargoyle Academy hands on training warehouse!
Grand opening will be in August.

Feedback was phenomenal, and the students were very helpful in constructive criticism about what they would like to see more of on the mock up structures. So we are adding even more!
If you work in a trade where you are on ladders, rooftops, and lifts; while preforming repairs, replacements, cleaning, or other exterior work while at heights; then this is the place to be!
