🏆 Top Project of 2025 (Part 2)!

We're proud to share that the Eagan Art House has been recognized by Finance & Commerce as one of its Top Projects of 2025.

Developed for the City of Eagan, Minnesota - Government , this 10,000/SF community arts facility replaces the former residential structure that served the arts community for decades with a purpose-built destination designed to inspire creativity and connection. In partnership with JLG Architects, H+U Construction helped deliver a modern space featuring dedicated studios, gallery space, flexible classrooms, and specialized areas for ceramics and other creative programs.

The project also demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability through mass timber construction, geothermal heating and cooling, rooftop solar panels, native landscaping, and abundant natural daylight. Congratulations to the entire project team on this well-deserved recognition and for creating a lasting community asset for Eagan residents.

🏆 Top Project of 2025!

We're proud to share that the Saint Paul Public Schools SPPS Barack & Michelle Obama School has been recognized as one of Finance & Commerce's Top Projects of 2025.

This transformative project brought together the renovation of a historic school, a new addition, and a relocated Montessori program to create a unified PreK-8 campus designed to serve students for generations. Working alongside Saint Paul Public Schools and Snow Kreilich Architects, H+U Construction helped deliver a modern learning environment that preserves the character of the original building while supporting the future of education in Saint Paul.

Congratulations to the entire project team + Snow Kreilich Architects on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for the collaboration that made this project a success.

What a day at the 2026 Plane Pull at MSP Airport! ✈️ Team H+U was proud to join hundreds of supporters in pulling for a great cause and helping raise an incredible $91,757 (+ counting) for Special Olympics Minnesota (SOMN), supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities across our communities.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and cheered teams on throughout the day. We’re honored to support the mission of SOMN + be part of such an inspiring event. 👏

🚧 Fred Richards Park construction update!

Construction continues as the park takes shape in the City of Edina, MN (Local Government). Recent and upcoming work includes:

+ Erosion control, fencing, and utility work
+ Demolition of the existing parking lot and maintenance building
+ Earthwork and grading in the southwest quadrant
+ Preparation for a new restroom, playground, open lawn, parking lot, entry, and connecting pathways
+ Increased equipment, noise, dust control, and material hauling throughout September
