North End Community Center has been recognized with an Honorable Mention in the 2026 American Architecture Awards from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design ().

As the nation’s highest public architecture awards presented by a non-commercial, educational institution, the American Architecture Awards honor design excellence across a variety of typologies and scales.

As described in the submission, transparency, both literally and metaphorically, was a guiding principle in the design of this new facility. Expansive open-space overlooking the street and park behind invite daylight in and reinforce the idea of shared community ownership.

It's a joy for us to sponsor and support the Saint Paul Parks Conservancy throughout the year and at their annual Play Ball Gala.

The gala raised over $121,000 for St. Paul Parks! This is amazing, but just shy of their goal. Help them reach their fundraising milestone by donating at the link below. Your support turns into equal play, park improvements, and programs to empower our local youth and families.

We’re thrilled to share that River Hub at Graco Park has received a 2026 Metropolis Magazine Planet Positive Award in the Pavilion or Installation category.

The project transforms a former industrial riverfront into a regenerative public landscape, bringing together ecological restoration, habitat, recreation, and community connection along the Mississippi River.

Congratulations to Mary Springer, AIA, LEED AP, Project Manager and Project Architect, who accepted the award at the ceremony, and to the entire project team and collaborators on this recognition.

Thank you to METROPOLIS for celebrating design that strengthens both communities and ecosystems.

The River Hub at Graco Park creates positive impact by restoring ecological systems, improving watershed health, reducing carbon emissions, and expanding community access to nature along the Mississippi River.

Our design work is rooted in place and community, and our commitment to both extends beyond the studio.

Members of our team recently volunteered with Second Harvest Heartland, supporting the organization's work to provide food and resources to communities across Minnesota. This is just one of the many ways we aim to stay connected to the places and people we’re fortunate to work in and for.

Earlier this week we had the pleasure of hosting a happy hour + networking event in our studio during the national Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) annual conference.

As an homage to the conference being held in Minneapolis this year, we shared some of our favorite parts of the Twin Cities with our guests: local beers, snacks, and of course, must-see architectural landmarks.

Architecture is shaped by curiosity, collaboration, and a deep commitment to people and place.

Snow Kreilich Architects proud to celebrate Christina Stark, AIA, and Nicholas M. Reiter, AIA, NOMA, on being named recipients of the 2026 AIA Minnesota Young Architect Award.

This recognition honors architects in their first 10 years of licensure whose leadership and contributions are making a lasting impact on the profession and their communities.
