A Piece of Crocus Hill History, Restored!
Built in 1893, the James Cleary House is one of the historic homes that gives St. Paul’s Crocus Hill neighborhood its distinctive character.
The home is part of the Historic Hill District, a nationally recognized historic district that preserves hundreds of homes representing St. Paul’s late-19th- and early-20th-century residential architecture.
More than 130 years later, the home still showcases historic craftsmanship, including detailed woodwork, ornate moldings, hardwood floors, leaded and curved glass, and its signature wraparound porch.
This summer, Paris Painting had the privilege of helping restore this piece of St. Paul history with a fresh exterior paint finish—preserving its historic character.
Do you have a historic home that needs a little care? We’d love to help maintain it with you.
