Before & After | Letting the Home Lead the Way

This before & after is a great reminder of what’s possible when you give the design process room to unfold.

We knew we wanted to make the kitchen window wider and raise it above the countertop, but the existing construction of the home meant we had to do some serious research to understand what was possible—and where our limitations were.
Then there was the beam running right through the middle of the kitchen. We explored a lot of ideas for how to conceal it. But eventually, we stopped trying to make the beam disappear and started listening to the home.

We looked to the existing details throughout the house, including the living room, for inspiration. Those details ultimately guided the solution in the dining room, and what we discovered was that the simplest answer was also the right one.
That’s the value of allowing time for creativity, research, and iteration. Not every idea makes it to the finish line—and that’s exactly how it should be.

We let the home talk to us, trusted the process, and the result is nothing short of spectacular.

There’s something special about moving week—it’s a reminder to focus on the end result and trust the process. And isn’t that exactly what we ask our clients to do throughout their remodel?

This kitchen is such a beautiful example of why the process is worth it. From the induction cooktop and custom range hood to the textural tile, handmade light fixtures, and strategically placed pops of color that can be enjoyed throughout the home, every detail was thoughtfully considered.

Yes, you may have heard the rumors… 👀

The news is true—we officially have the keys to our new office space! 🔑🏠

Demo starts tomorrow, and we couldn’t be more excited to begin transforming this space into our new home over the next year.

For years, we’ve dreamed of having our design and build teams working together under one roof and now, we’re making it happen. ✨

There’s a lot of work ahead, but we can’t wait to bring you along for the journey. Be sure to follow along as we share the progress, the behind-the-scenes, and all the little details that will make this space ours.

And before you know it, we’ll be opening the doors and inviting you in to see our new home for yourselves.

Wrapping up another busy week in the field! 🔨

Your dream home doesn’t always begin with the plan you have in mind—it begins with being open to what’s possible.

One of the most rewarding parts of our design process is helping clients discover opportunities they never knew existed. It starts with listening. During our intake process, we learn about your daily routines, frustrations, wish lists, dreams, and the way you want your home to support the life you live.

From there, our design team gets to work. Ideas go from pen to paper, are challenged and refined during team charrettes and brainstorming sessions, and evolve through collaboration before we present multiple concepts. Each design is paired with a ballpark investment range, helping you understand not only what’s possible, but what it may take to bring it to life.
