Welcome to the team, Rick Lee, our newest Project Manager! 👋

Rick brings a background most project managers don't have. He's an Air Force veteran and entrepreneur who has built a career in both construction and the restaurant world. That mix matters more than it might sound: running a restaurant and running a jobsite both come down to the same thing: keeping a lot of moving parts flowing, solving problems before they become delays, and getting a room full of people pulling in the same direction. That's exactly what Rick does. Quality control, conflict resolution, keeping crews on track and schedules intact. On an occupied renovation, where guests are checking in and residents are at home, that steady hand is everything.

Project kickoff: Marriott's Oceana Palms, Singer Island, FL. 🌴

We're honored to begin work at this oceanfront Marriott Vacation Club resort in Riviera Beach. In this Singer Island landmark, owners and guests return year after year for two-bedroom villas steps from the Atlantic.
That's exactly what makes a project like this one worth getting right. Owners have memories tied to these villas. Our job is to elevate the spaces without interrupting the reason people come back.

Congratulations, Will Bowar, on 5 years with Schoenfelder Renovations!

Will started with us as a site supervisor and has since grown into a Project Manager, but the qualities that made him great on day one are the ones that still define him: dependable and tenacious. When a job gets complicated, Will is the guy who stays with it until it's right.

Over five years, he's left his mark across hospitality and senior living- from the exterior transformation at Great Wolf Lodge to a long list of Atria senior living communities. That's occupied renovation at its toughest: guests checking in, residents at home, and Will keeping the work moving without disrupting either.

The estimators finally got a chance to put down the calculators and pick up a burger. 🍔

This weekend, our estimating team traded takeoffs for co****le, bid deadlines for BBQ, and spent an afternoon doing something other than pricing your next renovation. Great food, great weather, great people, and not a single square-footage debate all day. (Probably.)

P.S. — From Marketing: we noticed these photos were taken without us. We're not upset. We're just saying the lighting could've been better, the framing was a little off, and we're fully available next time. We'll even bring the good camera.
