Nature Play Area at Silverwood Park 🪨🌳

New addition to the nature play area at Silverwood Park is absolutely glowing thanks to Sam | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

In a world where our playgrounds are made from plastic and chatgpt seems to be replacing our ability to dream up our own thoughts, we’re proud to be making something that will connect kids with their natural environment and encourage imaginative play.

Furniture Season is here and we’re takin’ orders!

As fall settles in and temps drop here in the Midwest, it’s time to put down the trowels and shift into soup mode.

If you’re looking for a new cozy seating area to curl up with a good book, or perhaps a new table to display your favorite records in time for your Christmas Party, don’t hesitate to ask!

You can now find our furniture at Corazon ❤️

We’re excited to announce that our work will be on display at the wonderful CorAzoN Twin Cities on East Lake St. Being a Longfellow business ourselves, we were thrilled to get to showcase our work in the neighborhood.

Swing by and take a seat on one of our chairs and enjoy the wonderful work of innumerable other local artists at their shop by the Mississippi.

5 years of Time Was Like Water
up at The Acreage at Osceola. We’re celebrating by giving it some new fabric sails 🥳

Lovely to see how throughout the years the sails have polished the cedar posts they glide up against.

Thanks to bruised orange for sewing these up for us!

Prairie Canopy
2026

This project has been a couple of years in the making, sitting within a newly restored prairie in Excelsior, MN. The canopy is designed to offer shelter from the sun, but still open enough to allow the breeze of the prairie blow through it.

This garden is a testament to the ecological benefit and the beauty that comes from ripping out your Kentucky bluegrass and bringing back the prairies that used to cover nearly the entirety of the Midwest.

Nature Playground addition at Silverwood Park 🪨🌳

We recently completed this project at Silverwood Park for their new Nature Play Area and are so pleased to be a part of this lovely space! We introduced 4 boulders to the space, 1 framed between a wooden slatted wall with a large circle cut out of the center, 2 embedded into a long rectangle, and one placed upon the ground between them. We love the idea of a sculpture welcoming playfulness and exploration and cannot wait to see how the kids (and adults) engage this piece.

Check out our new mobile counters at Sift Gluten Free Bakery!

Alright, so they are actually almost a year old somehow but we just recently got them photographed by the wonderful Sam | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer 📸

These new counters provide additional storage for staff in the cafe as well as a place to serve coffee, prep pastries, and store necessary things like bus tubs and receptacles. We don’t often go for strong color but felt the yellow was a wonderful pop to the space

ROCK STOOL

A seat, or end table, this work was inspired by common natural stone patios. Intended as multiples, these pieces can be placed together, making one larger surface reminiscent of a flagstone patio or walkway, or displayed individually.

Basalt Lamp

This work is a part of our new “Osceola Series” inspired by the St. Croix River that is the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin, and the Oak Savannas along its shores.

The Basalt Lamp is inspired by the sheer basalt cliff faces along the river, a defining characteristic of the area. We love the St. Croix River and wanted this piece to be a vignette of it’s landscape to bring into the home.
