A future-forward learning environment begins with listening, discovery, and shared aspiration. At Georgetown International Academy those ideas came to life during a recent Discovery visit with our Fielding International team, as we explored the vision for GIA’s third-floor expansion project.
This early engagement centered on listening, learning, and building shared understanding with school leaders, educators, parents, and students. Together, we began exploring how new space can support collaborative, student-centered learning, high-level inquiry, interdisciplinary exploration, technology-rich experiences, and safe, thoughtful movement throughout the space, while also reflecting GIA’s culture, community, and sense of place through architecture.
We are grateful to the GIA community and our partners at MEP Engineering Services Inc - Guyana for welcoming us into this important work and for sharing your perspectives, aspirations, and ideas. We look forward to our continuing work to help create impactful learning environments where students and staff can thrive.
