It’s always something. 😂
If you work in construction, dirt work, land clearing, mowing, or anything that involves equipment, you already know… when it’s not one thing, it’s another. A tractor gets hot. A hydraulic line decides today is the day. A tire needs attention. Something breaks, something needs troubleshooting, and somehow the job still has to get done. 😂
And let me tell you… this Texas heat does NOT help. The equipment is hot, we’re hot, the ground is hot, and some days it feels like absolutely everything is working against you.
So if you see a contractor working a little slower than usual, taking a minute to cool off, troubleshooting equipment, or having to change the plan for the 47th time… give them some grace. We promise they are doing everything they can.
This work tests you. It tests your patience, your problem-solving, your body, your marriage 😂 and sometimes your sanity. We work long hours, weekends, early mornings and late nights. We probably work more hours than we ever would have working a traditional employment position.
But honestly?
We wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️
There’s something about building something from the ground up, solving problems nobody else wants to deal with, watching a job come together, and knowing you did it with your own two hands (and a whole lot of equipment 😂).
So yes… it’s always something.
But we love what we do. We’re grateful for the work, grateful for our customers, grateful for our crew, and even on the days when everything seems to go wrong, we wouldn’t trade this life for anything.
Give your contractors some grace. We’re hot, our equipment is hot, and we’re still out here getting it done. 🇺🇸💪🏼
