π± Nice, Nice... A Don "The Sod Father" Classic π±
If you've ever worked with Don, rode in the truck with Don, or stood within 50 feet of Don, you've heard the two words that have become legendary...
"Nice, Nice."
It doesn't matter if you're laying sod, spreading mulch, edging a flower bed, loading a truck, or sweeping the shop. The minute you stop to admire your work, Don walks over, tilts his head, points at that one tiny spot you somehow missed and says...
"Nice, nice."
Translation: "You're getting there, but we're not done yet." π
Then the hunt begins.
One blade of grass out of place? "Nice, nice."
One rock turned the wrong direction? "Nice, nice."
A pallet stacked just a little crooked? "Nice, nice."
You could spend six hours making it perfect, and Don will somehow find the one thing nobody else on Earth could see.
Then he'll smile and say...
"Now that's Nice, Nice."
After all these years, those two little words have become part of The Sod Father family. They've been heard on thousands of jobs, by hundreds of customers, and by every employee who's ever tried to impress Don.
So if you hear someone around the yard saying "Nice, Nice," just know...
You're either working with Don...
..or you've been trained by the best. ππ±
