🌶️ Day 3 of Pepper School! Your watering routine matters more than you may realize. Deep, consistent watering + mulch can make managing pepper plants much easier. Save this one for next growing season!

🍅 Before you rip those tired-looking tomato plants out of the garden…WAIT!

If you’re in Zone 6, September can still give us some tomato-growing weather. I’m watching the forecast and letting healthy plants keep producing as long as I reasonably can.

The garden may not look as pretty as it did in July—but we’re not gardening for pretty. 😂 We’re gardening for the HARVEST!

The key is knowing your first frost date + choosing crops that can handle cooler weather or mature quickly.

This might be my favorite part of gardening… turning what I grew into something I can actually eat. 🍅🌶️🌿

I had a pile of garden tomatoes and peppers that needed to be used, so I roasted them and turned them into this homemade tomato sauce.

And listen… roasting the vegetables FIRST? 🔥 That flavor is on another level.

One of the things I’m learning is that a productive garden isn’t just about how much you can grow—it’s also learning what to DO with everything once the harvest starts rolling in. 😂

So if your counter is currently covered in tomatoes, SAVE this idea for later. 🍅

A backyard garden was supposed to be just that — a garden. 😂🌱

I had no idea it would eventually inspire a business or completely change the way I thought about growing my own food.
