🌳🏆 Putting Their Skills to the Test!

A few of our Hoppe arborists recently competed in the Wisconsin Arborist Association's Tree Climbing Competition in De Pere, WI!

Sean-Salvatore Cerchiara, Cameron Miller, and Brian Blau took on multiple events, including Ascent & Belayed Speed Climbing and the Master's Challenge. These events put arborists' climbing skills, technique, speed, and problem-solving to the test.

Great job representing Hoppe, guys! We're proud to see you putting your skills to work and competing alongside fellow arborists across Wisconsin. 🌲👏

🚴🌳 Riding for the Future of Trees

Hoppe Tree Service President August Hoppe recently took part in the Tour des Trees, an annual cycling adventure that brings arboriculture professionals together each year to raise awareness and support for the future of trees. This year, riders took on the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains.

Since 1992, Tour des Trees riders have helped shine a light on the importance of science-based tree care while supporting TREE Fund research, education, and scholarships that advance arboriculture and urban forestry.

We're proud to see August pedal for a cause that helps make our industry, and the communities we care for, stronger for generations to come. 🌳

🌸Magnolia scale is active right now, making late summer the ideal time to inspect your tree. Catching it early can help prevent branch dieback, declining tree health, and the sticky honeydew that attracts ants, wasps, and black sooty mold.

Watch for:
🍃White or tan, waxy bumps on branches
🍃Black, soot-like mold on the foliage
🍃Sticky residue on leaves or nearby surfaces
