Last week PRA got the opportunity to attend the ribbon cutting and open house for The Karrick Apartments, the newest development for Kenosha Harbor District.

The Karrick Apartments located in downtown Kenosha, WI is part of a mixed-use redevelopment initiative. It houses 158 multi-family units adjacent to the waterfront, City Hall, and restaurants. This project is the start to the city’s forward momentum and will be a destination for business, events, dining, and shopping.

We are very grateful to be part of this project and excited to see what comes next in Kenosha’s journey.

At PRA, we value the commitment we provide to both our team members and our clients. This May, we kicked off the first session of our "ConstructED by PRA" at Blue Wren in Madison, WI. Our talented senior staff are sharing their knowledge and experience in the field with our younger architects to be.

This month, we talked about footings and foundations. Russ Owens, Senior Construction Administrator/Architect, and Marc Ott, Senior Project Manager, walked the team through the importance of foundation standardization for tolerances, how a building is staked out on site, and the role grade elevations play in setting a project up for success from the ground up.

It’s been a busy and rewarding season for PRA’s Education Studio as our team has had the opportunity to connect with school district leaders and industry partners through conferences and presentations across Wisconsin.

It was a strong finish at Nativity Catholic Church in Longwood, Florida this week! Reaching the final punch reflects the thoughtful design, coordination, and craftsmanship behind the project, and we’re proud to have collaborated with the Diocese of Orlando and Certified General Contractors, Inc. to bring that vision to completion!

Plunkett Raysich Architects is proud to have Partner Devin Kack presenting at the Spring Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials Conference alongside our partners at Franklin Public School District and Cadence Consulting.

This session explores how strong community interest in expanded educational and recreational opportunities led Franklin Public Schools to invest in a new $8.2M facility supporting year-round programming. Located on a shared 52.5-acre campus, the facility combines district operations, community services, and a wellness clinic in one accessible space. Attendees will hear perspectives from planning through project completion.
