From plans to pavement, the Highland Road Bike/Pedestrian Spur is officially open!

Kapur provided engineering design for the 1.5-mile paved trail connecting the Ozaukee Interurban Trail to Rotary Park in Mequon. The project created a dedicated off-road connection along Highland Road, providing a safer route for people walking and biking through the community.

Congratulations to MT Trails Foundation, the City of Mequon, and everyone who helped bring this community connection to life!

We went into this week's WCHA - The Wisconsin County Highway Association Leadership Development Group Conference hoping to hear what's working, what's changing, and what challenges county transportation professionals are navigating across Wisconsin.

Those conversations didn't disappoint.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to share experiences, compare approaches, and talk about what's top of mind in your communities. No two counties face exactly the same challenges, but hearing different perspectives helps all of us better understand how we can continue moving Wisconsin's transportation system forward.

Yesterday's groundbreaking for Drumlin Fields Apartments marks the beginning of a major investment in new housing for Waterloo.

The 96-unit development will transform 10.7 acres into a new residential community with private entrances, attached garages, courtyards, green space, and other amenities designed for future residents.

Kapur is providing site design services for the project, and we're looking forward to joining our partners to mark the start of construction and seeing the plans we've helped develop begin taking shape in the field.

During Earth Science Week, we're recognizing the professionals whose knowledge of soils, water, geology, and natural systems helps inform responsible project planning and design.

Our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) gives eligible employees a stake in the company through a retirement benefit. But the ownership story also shows up in everyday actions: helping a teammate, solving a client’s challenge, and taking pride in the details.
