Construction continues at Dignity Health Folsom Ranch! Our team is making great progress on the three-story, 90,000 square foot Ambulatory Care Center, designed to consolidate essential healthcare services into a single, accessible destination. The building includes clinic space, urgent care, laboratory and imaging, plus infusion services.

We’re proud to partner with NexCore Group and Perkins&Will to deliver a more connected healthcare experience for the community in Sacramento County.

Earlier this month our Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) team leaders organized a “Speed Dating” event, designed to strengthen relationships between XL leaders and local UBEs.

Hosted at our Oakland office, the event brought together contractors and small businesses for a series of quick, focused conversations with XL’s business unit leaders—giving participants the chance to:
• Learn about XL’s diverse market sectors
• Understand upcoming project opportunities
• Share capabilities and build visibility within our teams

As campuses navigate disruptions, whether enrollment pressures and aging infrastructure to affordability, climate risk, and the rapid evolution of AI, collaboration and conversation offers a path forward.

We’re excited to be part of the "convergence" conversation and will be connecting with facilities managers, university leaders and campus planners to explore how design-build construction can support integrated planning and bring together people, programs, and places in more intentional, collaborative ways.

Earlier this month, XL Construction joined NorCal Carpenters Training in Pleasanton for their Equal Opportunity Construction Event. Students from across the Bay Area had the opportunity to engage with construction and trade professionals, gaining hands-on experience with PPE, power tools, and welding simulations.

Attendees also enjoyed food, raffles, and valuable networking opportunities. XL is proud to have connected with so many future builders and to support an event that provides real exposure to careers in the trades. A huge thank you to Trace Pesavento for organizing our participation and sharing your passion for crafts and trade education!
