Check out some of these in - progress shots from our current build. We are working on a Mercedes Van, and our concept is to create a vintage feel/aesthetic using high quality, modern materials. These are some photos of us working on a new swivel seat for the van build!

Sometimes it is necessary to remove some factory pieces to make an aftermarket piece fit in terms of re - designing and customizing a vehicle. This is something we are totally capable of doing over here at Easywind Design.

Some in - progress shots from our Blue Bus Build! A little window action here . . .

Showcasing a schoolbus conversion that we completed a few years back -- the lovely Blue Bus! This schoolbus was at first a US Navy transportation bus. Our customer bought it with the intention to convert it into a tiny home on wheels.

Our good friends over at skoolie.com gave the bus a 20 inch roof raise and handed it over to our team. We installed all of the windows, built out the interior, welded in a new steel framing, added an RV door, and painted it blue.

This model is a bluebird bus with a very close wheelbase which allows for ease of navigation and driving it around.

Hey everyone. I want to introduce myself on here for people who may be following along but don't know me.
My name is Kenan, these are my dogs Luna and Waker, and I am the owner of this small conversion, building, and design business, Easywind Design.

In 2016, I bought a 2001 Ford Econoline and my first thought was how I could rip everything out on the interior and rebuild it the way I imagined.

I spent a lot of time traveling in my early 20's, working on carpentry projects, helping my friends with their cars, vans, and buses, helping design wild art projects to take to festivals - and decided that 2021 would be the year I turn my skills and passions into a tangible reality!

Easywind Design was launched in 2021 as a way for me to help others achieve their dreams - whether it's someone who wants to convert their vehicle into a home they can live out of, an epic van they can take out on weekends for camping, or a unique furniture project . . . I hope to help as many people as I can in 2022 create something truly epic!

On our Journey with Love Light Bus . . .
Wall framing, final flooring, framing for the bathroom + the wardrobe. Getting closer to freedom. We've almost reached the finish line with this build. Our client wanted us to get their bus to the stage where all that is left is the finishing touches to complete.

The next steps in converting the Love Light white school bus are insulating + installing the floor.

We installed a subfloor first to help keep things even and smooth, and insulated. Then we installed a nice tongue and groove vinyl floor. This type of flooring is great because the tiles click in together easily, making for a smooth installation process.

For the next few days, follow along with us as we walk you through our conversion process of this white school bus, the Love Light bus.

This was a build we worked on for a local photographer back in August of 2021.

PROJECT GOAL: Create a bus that could feel homey and comfy while also having a functional work space in the back. Our client wanted to create an epic studio for them to develop their tintype photography, as well as a home on wheels.
