Home base to wildlife photographer Mark Picard, MOOSE PRINTS Gallery and Gifts offers a large selection of Mark’s regional landscape and wildlife images along with 3-dimensional art and gifts by featured artisans. Mark has been photographing in the North Maine Woods for over 40 years, specializing in New England Wildlife and his exquisite work with Moose. His images have appeared in numerous national and international publications including, Audubon, Birders World, Canadian Wildlife Federation, Defenders of Wildlife, National Wildlife Federation, Nature Conservancy, Northern Woodlands, Ontario Out of Doors, Sierra Club, Vermont Magazine, Wild Bird and Yankee. During peak viewing season Mark offers personalized guided photographic tours of the Katahdin Region including group workshops and one-on-one instruction. Much like a walk in nature, visitors to MOOSE PRINTS can expect the unexpected from the time they enter the gallery’s front door. Our walls are filled with images of creatures and landscapes both great and small. With life size Moose images on stretched canvas wraps to miniature photographs in birch twig frames, MOOSE PRINTS celebrates wildlife indigenous to the North Woods through photography, gift items, and art.

A Little Oktoberfest Hospitality Is Coming to Downtown Millinocket!
The Katahdin Chamber of Commerce invites you to an evening of great food, art, and community connections at our Fall Business After Hours, hosted by Moose Prints Gallery & Gifts.

We’re celebrating autumn with a delicious Oktoberfest-inspired menu prepared by Lynne Smith of Crave Maine Catering.
Here’s what’s cooking!

Good things are happening in downtown Millinocket!
We’ll highlight Millinocket’s downtown revitalization efforts, including the Maine Downtown Affiliate initiative, and share how the Tiny Art Vending Machine Project is already giving back to the community. It’s a creative example of how local businesses, art, and community involvement can work together to make a difference.
Come for the food, stay for the conversation, and leave inspired!
Admission is FREE for Chamber members and guests, and you’re welcome to drop in anytime between 5 and 7 PM.
