Insulators often think fire sprinklers are contributing to a failing blower door test. But any contact of foam insulation with a sprinkler head means the head must be replaced. A major no no!!!!! Had to cut the pipe to get the head out. A very costly mistake.

Final Trim out Poplar Ave. These photo’s show how the fire sprinkler system looks when it is finished. The trim plates are ty3596 concealed residential plates.

These photo’s show proper spacing off the ceiling fan. The spacing has to be be at least 3 feet off center of fan. Sprinkler head can not be under the fan blade.

These photo’s show the proper gap when the sheetrock is done correctly around the sprinkler head. The head type is a tyco ty3596 concealed head. Do not caulk or foam these gaps between sheetrock and cover plate.

(Continued )Single family house Street Md. Basement Rough in using Blazemaster 1 inch and 3/4 cpvc sprinkler pipe. Sprinkler heads installed are Tyco ty3596 Residential Concealed Heads and Tyco ty2234 155 deg pendents. Fire sprinkler source is a 300 gallon water tank with a 1-1/2 Hp booster pump.
