Sometimes date night looks a little different when you own a pool company together. šŸ˜‚

Dinner out? Maybe.
A quiet evening? Occasionally.
Driving by a job site together to check progress? More likely.

As the wife behind the scenes at Smith Pool Company, I have to admit ā€” seeing the progress is one of my favorite parts.

I get to hear about the plans, the details, the changes and everything happening along the way, but thereā€™s nothing quite like pulling up to a site and actually seeing it all come together.

What started as a conversation and a plan is slowly becoming a backyard where a family will make memories for years to come.

Owning a business together means work and life tend to overlap a littleā€¦ and apparently so do work and date night. šŸ˜‚

But I wouldnā€™t have it any other way.

Some projects come full circle. ā¤ļø

Thirty years ago, we built this poolā€”our very first one.

This week, we had the privilege of coming back to give it a fresh new look with a beautiful new liner. Seeing a pool we built three decades ago still bringing joy to a family is a reminder of why we do what we do.

A new liner doesnā€™t just change the appearanceā€”it gives a pool new life, adding years of enjoyment while preserving the memories already made.
