Happy Holidays from all of us at ATR!
To give our hard working staff & crew a well deserved break, we will be closed Wednesday December 24th, 25th & 26th. We will reopen on Monday 12/29 & Tuesday 12/30 and then have another long weekend 12/31-1/4. The office will be open again on Monday, January 5th.

It is with a heavy heart I write this. Our long time friend & employee, Tricia Nielsen has passed away. She had taken ill some time ago & sadly has passed. Tricia was one of ATR's longest employees. She was with us through it all, from the very beginning in 1997. She was great at her job. Even after she took a medical leave, we kept her desk ready for her return, hoping she'd be back. We will miss her dearly. Rest peacefully my friend.

Services for Tricia will be held at BE Free Church on Saturday May 10th at 1pm.

Here’s an interesting Quonset hut type garage in Oakville that looks more like a small airplane hangar than a garage. These were sometimes acquired as military surplus.

Between 150,000 and 170,000 Quonset huts were manufactured during World War II, and the military sold its surplus huts to the public after the war.

This is located at 267 Buckingham Street, just up the hill a bit from the Sunnyside Ave/Ball Farm Road intersection and Ordinary Joe’s.
