SHARE Outreach’s Back-to-School Program in Milford, NH 🎒📚

Today, Matt Forget (Project Accountant) and Amy Fox (HR Administrator) donated 10 colorful backpacks on behalf of Turnstone to Share Outreach, Inc in Milford, NH, in support of their annual Back-to-School Program!

This program helps local students and families in need with backpacks, school supplies, and other essential items. New, sturdy backpacks are especially needed for older school-aged children.

With back-to-school season right around the corner, we’re happy to support this important program and help local students start the school year ready to learn. Community outreach and engagement are very important to us here at Turnstone, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the community we call home.

We're so proud to celebrate this partnership as we near the completion of the Hillsborough County Nursing Home renovation in Goffstown, NH!

Serving as the Construction Manager/Design Builder on this project, we are so proud of the work that we collaborated on with all the design teams, most notably with Fitzemeyer & Tocci Associates, Inc. as the Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. They were significant on this project; side by side designing with how to construct and phase at the forefront of the design. The building was fully occupied throughout construction, and the multiple construction phases had to be carefully planned not to interrupt operations as we nearly removed the entire existing mechanical and electrical systems to install new energy efficient ones. Working with an outstanding team to deliver improvements that will make a meaningful difference for residents and staff - from enhanced HVAC and ventilation to more thermally efficient windows, a new roof, and improved overall building performance - is rewarding as the project is wrapping up.

Inspiring! – Milford High School Applied Technology Center – Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Turnstone Corporation has been a proud sponsor of this local program for years and is actively participating in a Co-op program offering real life on the job site experience for high school students both in accounting and in carpentry.

On April 16th, we continued that partnership and support through on site visits for the young professionals that are exploring opportunities in the trades. Twenty-six students got to tour two Construction Sites, one being our project in Henniker, NH, White Birch Cornerstone Community Center, and the HVAC training center at Manchester Community College.

Our team was honored to host these students and to give them a tour of the project. Students got the opportunity to see how projects come to life from blueprints to actual build. They were able to chat with Stacy J. Clark, President, Patrick Curran, Project Manager, and Matthew Darby, Superintendent to learn their stories and how their roles impact our projects.

Thank you to David Gilbert, CTE – Carpentry Instructor, for helping inspire the next generation of construction professionals. We’re so proud to be a part of this amazing program.
