Stayed late on Friday.....couple pieces of trim left then ready for preparations and paint!

Restored these windows on my own home. The diamonds are so much more work. Went down to bare wood and used linseed oil putty and paint from Europe. Changed the glass. My wife and I put in the Time and Intensive Labor.

Over coming injuries first day back at 100 percent effort. Looking forward to losing 20 lbs one day at a time. With inspiration from many Janpanese carpenters abroad today as this is not new construction where everything is cut to same size. Historic window needs to come in....in the meantime it will be water tight. Sometimes temp to permanent methods are used. In this particular situation I will make cut out when window is here. I marked my fastener locations to screw grks, any adjustments can be made if necessary alone, iin this case I needed to trace one side with my Fein tool then nailed off per code. Will post another video when I have time. All the upcoming contractors out there. Do not let them shame you for being brave and strong. The people who say Working with your head and hands are two separate affairs have clearly never done anything.🧠💪

Growing up at the age of 4 .....I knew that I wanted to be a Carpenter. In school I loved Art and History. At the age of 43 being tapped to execute essential structural repairs to the framing of a church steeple, in the city of Boston was an honor. Regardless of how challenging it is this is the exact nature of work I want to fill my schedule with. Preserving the Churches and Cathedrals that were meticulously crafted is something that keeps me passionate and is great for the community. Frame and Finish🧠💪. Respect to the knowledgable, talented and brave men that helped me complete this task.
