We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger to help others. We honor the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of the first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans who came together during one of our nation’s darkest days.

Our crews are on the move and ready to help restore power to communities in need. Safety is always our top priority, and we’ll be working diligently to keep our crews safe while getting the job done.

While we’ll certainly miss our families and friends this holiday weekend, we’re proud to answer the call and do our part to get the lights back on.

THE CALL CAME IN — AND WE’RE HEADED TO ILLINOIS.

We’ve officially gotten the green light to head to Illinois and help restore power to communities that need it most. ⚡️

Our crews are ready to work hard, work safely, and do our part to get the lights back on for families, businesses, and communities affected by the outage.

But getting the job done starts with getting our people home safely.

Our crews will be taking every necessary precaution in the field — following safety procedures, communicating with one another, staying alert to changing conditions, and never taking shortcuts when it comes to safety.

We’re proud of the men and women who answer the call when communities need help. It’s long hours, tough conditions, and demanding work — but it’s work that matters.

We're proud to answer the call.

Our crews are heading to Illinois to assist with storm restoration efforts and help restore power to communities impacted by severe weather. When the lights go out, linemen from across the country come together with one mission—to safely get the power back on.

While restoring electricity is our goal, nothing is more important than making sure every crew member returns home safely. Storm work brings long hours, challenging conditions, and countless hazards, which is why safety remains our top priority every step of the way.

Please keep all the crews, first responders, and the families waiting for them at home in your thoughts as they work around the clock to restore power.

⚡ Our crew has the green light and is headed to Michigan.

We’re deploying ahead of the approaching storms so we’re in position to respond as quickly and safely as possible if power outages occur. Our goal is to be ready when communities need us most.

Rolling out of Illinois and setting our sights on Michigan.

Storm response is underway. Michigan, we’re coming to help restore power, rebuild, and get the lights back on.

Every storm presents new challenges, including damaged infrastructure, unstable trees, flooding, poor visibility, and energized equipment. While restoring power is critical for our communities, no job is more important than ensuring every crew member returns home safely.

As many families prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend, our crews are loading up and heading out on a storm call to help restore power to communities impacted by severe weather.

While others are spending time with family and friends, our linemen and support teams are answering the call to serve where they're needed most. We know the days ahead will be long, but our crew is trained, prepared, and committed to restoring power safely and efficiently.

This Independence Day weekend, we're especially grateful for the hardworking men and women who put service above self—our crews, utility partners, first responders, and everyone working behind the scenes to keep communities safe.

If you're in an affected area, please stay away from downed power lines and always assume they are energized.
