As the event sponsor, we were proud to help bring our local community together for an evening of great company and even greater conversations. We hope you also had a blast getting to know others, and that you checked out all the drink specials Angela had to offer.

Whether we are working to bring your backyard to life or bring people together, we at Backyards by Taborsky are proud to support local businesses and help build an even greater place to call home.

We are finally saying goodbye to Texas summer. Yes, while the fun summer days of beating the 100-degree temperatures with popsicles and a carefully crafted pool are over, we have a whole new season to look forward to!

What better way to spend autumn days than with friends playing pool? With a beautiful pool house, you have just that and more. Imagine it. The windows on a cool afternoon are open. You and friends have your favorite drinks in hand, and while playing pool, you can always keep an eye on the TV to see who's leading in football.

At Backyards by Taborsky, this is our passion. We convert an empty backyard into a custom space that can be used in any season by anyone.

Although Autumn is well underway with spooky season right around the corner, it's also a great time to prepare for next summer's adventures. Whether you wish for a pergola, patio, or pool, all take time to build, but none of them have to be complicated. Take a pool, for instance. A beautiful pool can have all the bells and whistles, from an automated pool cover to glow-in-the-dark tile, or it can be as simple as a classic waterfall with steps that lead into the shallow end.

As they say, a little goes a long way, so let's just take a small sneak peek at what all can be prepared to get a perfect custom pool by next year. Everything is easier when there is no pressure of having to do it now. What better way to design than in the off-season of summer?

Autumn is a time full of many events. There is Oktoberfest, Sunday Night Football, and long-awaited holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving. That's why there should always be a space that is ready for each and every moment.

Envision it: Evening Football with the boys on the curated patio, topped off with a large TV as the finishing touch. Every inch of that patio, from the fire pit to the lights above and the outdoor kitchen that smokes all the hamburgers one could eat, was created for you. With Backyards by Taborsky, every aspect and every inch of your space was designed by the best in the business, right alongside your vision from start to finish.

We have come so far in the past months. We were named a 2026 Midlothian Chamber Small Business of the Year finalist, had a wonderful summer, and had the honor of being nominated to move to the voting round of Best of Ellis 2026. We would not have made it without your support.

Because this is the last week of Best of Ellis County, we would be so appreciative if you would show your love for Backyards by Taborsky by following the link and voting for us for "Swimming Pools" under the "Home and Services" category!
