Candidate will assist our project management team with the following responsibilities:
· Perform various project related technical, commercial, and logistical tasks as needed.
· Prepare RFI’s and technical assessments as needed.
· Prepare and manage project permitting packages.
· Build and track project schedules and budgets.
· Plan and oversees the ex*****on of projects.
· Manage subcontractor bids, contracts, and invoicing.
Participate in preconstruction, scope reviews, progress, and project turn over meetings.
· Manage in house labor force and subcontractors to ensure that the project is executed consistent with the estimate and client’s requirements and is delivered within budget and on time.
· Interact with field crews to address obstacles, changes, and material needs.
Partner with procurement to order, track and manage project materials.
Obtain any information that may affect job cost and schedule and communicate any variances to management.
· Manage and generate change orders as the need arises.
· Maintain working documents files including all forms of project related communications, vendor quotes, material specifications, installation instruction, brochures, etc.
· Complete project closeout procedures.
· Coordinate with local utility companies.
Familiarity and/or Expertise Preferred (or desire to learn quickly)
· Previous electrical industry experience.
· Project management experience in commercial environment.
· Practical knowledge of electrical construction.
· Microsoft Office suite (ex. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Detail-oriented and organized.
