We have been hard at work at L&J Earthmoving! I was trying to get as much done before the weather turned that I realized I have been skipping the “before” pictures. 🤦🏻

We rebuilt our cattle feeding bunks before our calving season. We cut out all of the manure and junk. Replaced it with clay, big rock and fine rock on the top. Packed it all in very tight! We used our new laser and receiver setup to keep them lined as best as possible since they are all a little bit different but it turned out very well!

We have also started a large tile project. I took out all of the trees to make the field edge straight. We have a large ditch cutting acrossed the big field all the way to the creek. We are going to tile it, fill it in and farm it all as one rather than farming it as two different fields.

We regraded a field road ditch for a customer. The ditch silted in taller than the road. The water was coming off of the blacktop and jumping over the original ditch and running down the existing roadway. We made some cuts and graded the ditch so it will work correctly.

We also pushed some berms off of a waterway for a local farmer. The waterway had terraces feeding it and they already had some issues after only a year so I worked them over. We grade them to be taller but on a flatter slope to make them more enjoyable to farm.
